CEO/Founder Dominque Hamilton leads 4-city tour featuring brand partnered activations

DALLAS, TX, January 01, 2021 /Neptune100/ — Nationwide- Cultural enthusiasts across the United States can stock up on a wealth of knowledge, glamour and insta-education with an innovative pop-up museum piloting in Dallas, TX. This exciting opportunity allows for minority women and young girls to learn about the beauty of loving the skin you’re in and viewing accurate depictions of black beauty, elegance and power.

Growing up in a beautifully blended family in the deep south where black aesthetics were not embraced and colorism ran rampant within communities, Founder Dominque Hamilton created Black Girl Magic Museum and struggled to define beauty as she faced different competing definitions of it. This struggle follows many young women through adulthood and continues to afflict many young women and girls presently. Due to limited representation or often stereotypical representation, it’s not well known that many young black women fight a silent battle of low confidence and self-esteem due to not being seen.

The Black Girl Magic Museum is an interactive, educational based pop-up museum. The Museum consists of paintings, Props, Murals and literature from today’s top artists. The Black Girl Magic Museum is for EVERYONE, however, the space is utilized to highlight the brilliance of black women and girls and show direct representation. Pilot city, Dallas, TX is on a 16-week exhibition with multi-city pop up tour stops to include Memphis, TN, Detroit Mi, Chicago IL, Mississippi, and Atlanta, GA. Tour dates are TBD due to covid guidelines and safety.
