Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency Honors ALSCO- Spokane with the GOLD Level Achievement Award for Clean Air

SPOKANE, WA, July 02, 2019 /Neptune100/ — The Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency recently honored ALSCO- Spokane with the GOLD Level Achievement Award for going “Above and Beyond” for clean air. ALSCO received the award because we have consistently demonstrated a commitment to reduce air emissions in Spokane County. “As the oldest Industrial Laundry Facility in Spokane County, we are committed to providing the best service in our industry. All of our employees live in the area we service and are proud to do everything we can in order to improve the environment which we call home. Helping to improve air quality is part of our overall goal to help improve our environment,” says Joey Kink, general manager of the Alsco Spokane Branch.

ALSCO-Spokane qualified for this award because we did not receive any corrective actions from the Spokane Clean Air Agency during the past two calendar years or after its most recent inspection of our facility. Because of capital investment granted by our corporation, ALSCO-Spokane upgraded its heat exchange system and made significant changes to the boiler room. Our service team’s commitment to a no-idling policy also contributed to ALSCO’s special recognition.
