Contributing to this outstanding success was Carol’s drive to develop positive working relationships throughout all areas of healthcare services, with this inspiring her to lead a renowned initiative to improve nursing professionalism. Her dedication to this objective resulted in over half of nursing staff receiving an OB certification and each staff member achieving a fetal monitoring certification. Carol also dramatically improved healthcare departments by encouraging cross-training throughout units which simultaneously reduced the requirement for agency nurses. She took this even further still by focusing her attention on reducing OB anesthesia waiting times and collaborating with the anesthesia department to bring waiting times down and improve patient satisfaction by 20%.

As well as being a full-time businesswoman, Carol is still dedicated to the healthcare sector and allocates time in her busy schedule to supporting women’s health-related charities – particularly those associated with breast-cancer awareness. She is also a member of National Association of Professional Women, Association of Women’s Health AWHONN and Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.
