BIRMINGHAM, AL, January 21, 2020 /Neptune100/ — Developer MAB American Management and its retained leasing company, Retail Specialists, announce the upcoming groundbreaking for Monroe Pavilion for the first quarter of 2020. The shopping center project in Monroe, Walton County, Georgia, is in the Atlanta metro and is slated to open in Summer 2021. Upon completion Monroe Pavilion will be a 350,000- square-foot development, with an estimated investment of more than $80 million and 1,000 total employees.
Publix has signed a lease to anchor the center with a 48,387-square-foot supermarket. Major retailers that have also signed leases include Ross, ULTA, Marshalls, Rack Room Shoes, and Five Below. The 100- acre development is located within the Monroe city limits on the north side of US 78 between its two interchanges, GA HWY 138 and GA HWY 11, which affords extraordinary regional access and exposure.
