Online consultation held by inviting overseas buyers and Gyeonggi SMEs/startups

LOS ANGELES, CA, October 27, 2020 /Neptune100/ — To support the SMEs and startups facing difficulties due to COVID-19 pandemic, Gyeonggi-do and Gyeonggido Business & Science Accelerator (GBSA) held 2020 Gyeonggi Business Exchange Seminar on Oct. 14. This exchange event, marking its 4th anniversary this year, was held with the aim of arranging business exchanges between overseas companies and local SMEs and startups to help local companies enter the overseas markets, and to inform the global market of Gyeonggido’s corporate competitiveness and investment environment.

At this exchange event held at Pangyo Technovalley Startup Campus, two Japanese buyers were invited. They are People Lounge, importer of IT solution devices and IoT-related products and CIG, online B2B seller of cosmetics and life products. From Gyeonggi-do, six companies including Suhyun Tech, MS Korea, AT&C, JC Cosmetic, Mommyspot, and Makersview participated.

Suhyuntech is a smart earplug earphone manufacturer. It is a venture company that develops and supplies smart earplug earphones that filter noise and transmit voice with its patented smart sound control technology.

MS Korea is an educational equipment manufacturing company, supplying touch screens and touch tables to related markets.

AT&C introduced an electronic module voice amplifier. The company introduced its electronic module sound amplifier (sound collector) in the conference. JC Cosmetic introduced makeup brushes that have been indirectly exported to Japan and Vietnam.

In addition, Mommyspot introduced its own casting kitchenware, and Makersview, a cosmetic research and development company, introduced its own cosmetics.

On the day of the exchange event, it was held in the form of 1:1 online consultation between local companies and invited overseas companies. Participating companies in the province introduced their core technologies, competitiveness, and vision to overseas buyers through the online video conference, and based on this, both participating companies and overseas buyers continued intimate consultation to find exchange channels in import and export.

GBSA said, “I hope that this exchange event can provide the opportunity to provide new sales channel to the SMEs and startups in the province that are facing difficulties due to COVID-19. GBSA will continue to make the effort to contribute to the development of regional economy and increasing the sales of the companies.”
