Recognizing creativity in students and teachers in south Texas
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, March 30, 2021 /Neptune100/ — The law firm of Herrman & Herrman, P.L.L.C. is pleased to present the 2021 annual Innovation Scholarship Contest with nearly $10,000 in prizes to be awarded to nine creative students and three teachers who inspired the students.
The Innovation Scholarships recognize creativity and community service and provide financial assistance to students to help cover college-related expenses.
To apply for a scholarship, students should submit a creative entry in any format such as a video, infographic, essay, poem, piece of art or song addressing the following topic:

The essay contest is open to high school juniors and seniors and students enrolled in two-year or four-year undergraduate programs at colleges, universities or technical schools in the United States.
The scholarship selection committee will select the scholarship winners, including three (3) Corpus Christi students, three San Antonio students and three Rio Grande Valley students. The scholarship contestants selected as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each category will receive checks in the respective amounts of $1,500, $1,000 and $500, with the checks paid directly to each student’s school. Three $250 prizes will be awarded to inspiring teachers nominated by the 1st place winners for each local scholarship.
The 2021 scholarship contest is now open, and submissions will be accepted through December 1, 2021.
