Insights from people who understand the impact of serious truck accidents and know how to help

INDIANAPOLIS, IN, November 03, 2020 /Neptune100/ — The attorneys at Craig, Kelley & Faultless are pleased to announce After the Crash, with David Craig, a podcast aimed at empowering people injured in semi-truck accidents.

The podcast will explore in depth what happens after a crash caused by a semi-truck or other large commercial vehicle. Podcast host David Craig is a highly regarded Indiana truck accident attorney who has represented victims of truck accidents for more than 30 years and earned board certification from the National Board of Trial Advocacy in truck accident law.

In each episode, Craig will talk with professionals who are involved in various aspects of truck accident cases, including investigators, engineers, mechanical experts, cell phone download experts and financial planners.

A serious tractor trailer accident disrupts lives and creates chaos. Accident victims often don’t know what steps to take or even what questions to ask. With the knowledge and insights shared by truck accident specialists, accident victims will be in a better position to find qualified legal representation, ask the right questions and avoid missteps after a serious truck accident.

“One of the reasons we started this podcast is I wanted to empower ordinary people with knowledge,” Craig says. “Knowledge is power. So many people have no idea what a reconstructionist does. They have no idea what a lawyer who does semi-truck wrecks does. What we are trying to do is educate people about what is involved in different phases of handling a truck wreck case.”

In episode one of After the Crash, Craig talks with Kevin T. Johnson, an accredited accident reconstructionist and former police officer who investigates semi-truck accidents and recreates simulations of how the accident occurred.

The owner of Crash Consulting Services, Johnson has been the principle investigator of more than 3,000 crashes across the U.S. The reconstruction of the accident provides important evidence to help accident victims pursue claims against trucking companies and truck drivers.

“The first thing we want to do is document what evidence is available to us out there at the scene,” Johnson says. “If we get the call on day 1, we have great information out there. We have all the skid marks, the gouge marks. We may even have the vehicles still present on the scene when we go out there. You want to identify the issues associated with the scene. They vary from case to case.”

New episodes of After the Crash will be released each month.
