FORT WORTH, TX, January 30, 2021 /Neptune100/ — Specialty Beverage Retailer Liquorland hopes to open its third location, occupying a portion of a planned redevelopment of a prior bank building located at 1842 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, TX.

Liquorland expects to lease about 5,500 square feet from Blazing Hospitality, occupying half of the building. Spokesperson confirmed that they had initial conversation with city staff and will be submitting formal application next month.

“We are excited about the prospect of opening a new store in Hurst, TX,” said Ronak Vaghani, Chief Operating Officer at Liquorland.

The company already has stores in nearby Fort Worth, TX and Corral City, TX. “We see a lot of customers coming to (those stores) from the Hurst area,” said Smit Shah, a President of Real Estate with Liquorland. “Since Hurst is part of the Mid-Cities region of Dallas/Fort Worth Suburb, it only makes sense that we have a store for our customers.”

“We are very hopeful that we will have a store open in Hurst in the next 5-8 months,” said Shah, adding that he could not comment on the terms of the lease.

The store expects to hire between 10-20 team members, with some seasonal hiring.

A typical Liquorland store sells more than 500 wines, including 100 exclusively for Liquorland, 1,000 specialty spirits, 300 craft and local beers, and more than 200 other products such as cheese, party accessories and caviar. In addition, Liquorland offers on-site educational tastings for customers with the help of both vendors and a Liquorland team members.

Liquorland is also known for developing relationships with its customers, often hosting weekly tasting series, special events and promoting local vineyards, breweries, and distilleries.
