Welcoming Manny Trujillo

After graduation with a Bachelor’s of Science degree from Gardner-Webb University in North Carolina, Dr. Trujillo obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He then completed a rigorous training program in General Surgery at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. During his residency, he discovered his passion for plastic surgery: both cosmetic and reconstructive. He then made the decision to perform another 3 years of specialized training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Emory University, a world-renowned epicenter for plastic surgery.
After graduating, Dr. Trujillo decided that he wanted to return to upstate South Carolina – an area that he grew to love during his general surgery training. He has been welcomed back by both his general and plastic surgery colleagues and provides a skilled addition to the strong plastic surgeons in the area.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Truijillo will be found enjoying time with his wife and four children. He also enjoys teaching and participating in healthcare innovation projects.
