CHICAGO, IL, September 02, 2020 /Neptune100/ — Recently, a WIPO patent was filed by a newly formed startup, SIVAD AiCOMSCI PBC (“AiCOMSCI”). “…a system, method and application that prevents and/or mitigates fomite transmissions of pathogens to humans now known or later found,” the application’s abstract ends. The invention is entitled, “Modular and hygienic RFID t-zone training sleeve to prevent fomite transmissions of pathogens to humans” and the named affected industries and/or institutions are healthcare workers, military personnel, schools, teachers, and students.
AiCOMSCI, is a minority founded public benefit corporation that has been working on ways to slow the spread of infections using RFID technology ever since the pandemic hit America. Led by a 20 year old University of Michigan computer science major, the team has succeeded in developing a new type of PPE (personal protection equipment) that starting with healthcare workers, will help to lower the spreading of infections by changing human behavioral patterns.
In a recent zoom meeting with the interim CEO Ashley Davis, it was explained that, “Currently, our primary goal is to get this in front of the Center for Disease Control (CDC.gov) and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) because they will either heartily embrace a new weapon in the war against spreading infections or, they will tell us why it won’t work. We’re confident that it works great and we’re also hopeful and excited to get an opportunity to show them exactly how it will help people take their personal hygiene to a higher level.”
This new product and application is also designed to be assembled by everyday people, (trained in the art), from their homes or remote locations using a kind of gig economy approach to production.
