Robert, also known as Bob, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania but is currently based in Houston, Texas and is a Partner of Reich and Binstock LLP, which he co-founded with Dennis Reich in 1985.

Mr. Binstock is a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where he achieved his B.A. in 1978. He then subsequently secured his law degree from the South Texas College of Law in August 1981. Both these qualifications have well equipped him with the foundation needed for a successful career in litigation. He was then called to the bar in Texas in 1981, the Supreme Court of Texas in 1982 and the US Supreme Court in 1990. He has also been called to multiple district courts including the U.S. District Court Southern District of Texas in 1982, the U.S. District Court Eastern District of Texas in 1983 and the U.S. District Court District of Arizona in 1993. In addition, he was admitted to the bar at the U.S. Court of Appeals 11th Circuit in 1989 and the U.S. Court of Appeals 5th Circuit in 1982.

Mr. Binstock has represented thousands of injured plaintiffs over the course of his impressive career in both mass and class actions. These cases have included medical devices, pharmaceuticals, toxic tort and product liability. Furthermore, he also has experience and practices in claims involving medical negligence and personal injury. Outside of the medical law field, he practices in environmental law, construction defects and motor vehicle accidents.
