Production Site is Located in Stockbridge, Henry County Georgia

ATLANTA, GA, September 05, 2019 /Neptune100/ — SteelCo Buildings is proud to announce they were awarded the general building commission for the new HEGLA Production site located in Stockbridge, Georgia. The new facility has a construction cost between $4 million and $6 million, and anticipates employing about 21 people.

SteelCo Building outbid many other eligible contractors for the job by having a strong reputation for reliability and thoroughness throughout projects.

“We are pleased to bring HEGLA to Georgia and be a part of this monumental moment for Stockbridge,” said SteelCo CEO, Jay Bailey.

Groundbreaking ceremonies were held August 1, 2019, for the new HEGLA Corp. site in Henry County, Georgia. This is the first HEGLA production site outside Germany. The project is expected to be completed by April 2020.

The building is designed to have around 3,050 m² of office and warehouse space. The new production site was strategically located to strengthen its presence in North America and to better serve customers by providing easier access to resources. The facility will also offer twenty new jobs to the job force.
