The Louisiana Federation of Teachers and School Employees; “LFT” and the Louisiana Association of Educators; “LAE” pledged full support behind Herman Ray Hill due to his past commitment to the education of Louisiana’s children and public schools.
OBERLIN, LA, September 17, 2019 /Neptune100/ — The two largest teacher groups in Louisiana have endorsed and pledged their support to Herman Ray Hill for the State Rep. Dist. 32 race. Both the Louisiana Federation of Teachers and School Employees; “LFT” and the Louisiana Association of Educators; “LAE” pledged full support behind Herman Ray Hill due to his past commitment to the education of Louisiana’s children and public schools.
Herman Ray Hill, a retired teacher and coach demonstrated his ability to stand for Louisiana’s public-school teachers while he served in the Legislature. Hill was considered a champion for the education of Louisiana’s children. Shane Riddle of LAE praised Hill by stating; “We thank you for your commitment to policies that foster great public schools for every child.”
LAE is the state’s largest professional employee organization, representing 20 thousand elementary and secondary teachers, education support professionals and retired educators. The Louisiana federation of Teachers “LFT” is the second largest organization group. Both groups encourage anyone who is a teacher, school support worker or parent with children in the public-school system to consider and support for Herman ray Hill as State Representative of Dist. 32. District 32 consist of Allen, parts of Beauregard parish and a portion of DeQuincy in Calcasieu.
