Zsombor was founder and CEO of ACG (a IT consulting firm with 375 employees) and held executive roles at RIM, EDS, HP, and most recently Ericsson. He has a solid track record of business development and delivering large scale transformation projects and multi-billion dollar mergers and divestitures. He holds an MPM, MBA, B Sc. Degree.

Zsombor has been the Key Note Speaker at Project World Symposium on Advanced Project Management and a Featured panelist on World Report on Business, (112 million viewers – CNBC, PPV, Bravo).

Fredrik Alatalo, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

Fredrik has extensive experience in the telecoms industry and held the most senior executive positions in Europe, Asia and North America with telecom giant Ericsson. His most recent senior positions include Executive Vice President and General Manager at Ericsson Canada and Head of Ericsson North East Asia and President of Ericsson Japan.

Fredrik has acquired broad experience in the telecom/ICT business including: Corporate/Company management, Business Development, Sales Management, Program Management, and Product Management. With an engineering background, he has a sound understanding of telecommunications technology and products.

He held the chairmanship of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (SCCJ) April-Dec 2011. Fredrik hold MSc Applied Science and Electrical Engineering from University of Linkoping, Sweden.

Dean Forester, Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Dean has over 30 years experience building and operating telecommunications and high technology organizations. He has intimate knowledge of the entire telco backend and infrastructure and has managed services for Oracle, Imation, Rogers, York Region, RONA, and Bell Canada. Dean also started Durham.net in 1994 which was the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Durham Region and he managed to grow it to 20k subscribers before selling the business to Telus.

Prior to his position with telMAX, Dean was the Director of IT at Cygnal Technologies for 11 years where he oversaw the implementation of JDE OneWorld, enabling enabled the rapid M&A activity of integrating 14 companies in 23 months.

Dean was educated at Durham College in both Business Administration and Electronics Technology.

Sandy Martin, Chief Finance Officer (CFO)

Sandy has 25+ years in the Financial Services industry with 20 years in Senior Executive positions. Sandy has previously served as Chief Compliance Officer at both Credential Financial Group and Raymond James Ltd. Sandy has significant experience in managing firms through growth phases and implementing the necessary infrastructure to bring organizations to the next level performance.

Sandy’s experience in Compliance has provided him a thorough understanding of Securities Regulation and the various reporting requirements that must be adhered to, providing telMAX with extensive inhouse capabilities for accessing Capital Markets.

Sandy has a degree in Economics and History and another in Education as well as several years of study in business and accounting. He completed several courses through the Canadian Securities Institute and has in fact participated in writing a course for that organization.

Zunaid Haroon, Chief Information Officer (CIO)

24 Years in software industry with deep expertise in telecommunications. Adept at strategy and execution to build robust, ground-breaking technologies. Participated in several successful, silicon valley startups (largest sold for US$1 Billion). Zunaid’s background in IT development & delivery allows telMAX to be uniquely strong if both IT and Telecommunications; a very valuable combination of offerings to Enterprise Customers.

In addition to software, Zunaid has full responsibility for managing telMAX core systems, Data Centres, internal operations and the customer experience team. Zunaid hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of the Cumberlands, Williamsburg, KY, USA, 1995.

David Keegstra, Chief Technology & Strategy Officer (CTO/CSO)

Dave has 30 years experience in the North American Telecom market with Nortel, TELUS, Ericsson and Huawei. He has built and led network operations, design and deployment, technology strategy and business development. Through all these roles Dave has cumulatively covered wireless, wireline, telecom and IP core, transport, BSS/OSS, and IPTV technologies. In his most recent roles as CTO of Huawei, Dave was leading the definition and adoption of IOT, NFV/SDN, and SMART Cities.

Dave’s through understanding of telco technology, R&D development from major players, business and subscriber needs makes him uniquely qualified to fulfill the role of Chief Technology and Chief Strategy Officer. Dave holds Bachelor of Engineering Physics at McMaster University.
