A crowd of over 4,500 music, art, yoga, craft beer and wine lovers of all ages came together for the 7th Annual Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival (WRMF) September 14th & 15th.

TEMPLETON, CA, September 27, 2019 /Neptune100/ — WRMF works hard each year to expand their amenities and offer some fresh new experiences for attendees. This year, a new addition that received rave reviews was the Bethel Rd. Lounge, offering a spirit tasting flight and specialty beverages with fresh herbs, kombucha and Bethel Rd. award winning spirits in a comfortable lounge with shade, a deck to view the bands and plenty of shade for a hot summer festival day.

Festival organizers made sure with the heat also came an abundance of misters to make sure everyone was nice and cool. Water stations throughout the grounds and shade under the giant oak trees provided all the relief needed to keep cool enough to boogie down.

Attendees kept cool but the stages were hot!

The event featured 16 bands ranging from Reggae to Bluegrass & Soul-Pop to Americana, WRMF artists brought down the house. An inspirational and passionate performance by Xavier Rudd highlighted the amazing connection the WRMF community has to the beautiful world that surrounds us. Toots and the Maytals brought everyone to the dance floor to come together in a sea of smiles that lit up the night. Beats Antique literally blew minds with with extravagant costumes, masks, coordinated dancers and a beautiful light show.

Festival goers truly experienced what this event is all about.

Over 500 kids were in attendance this year which confirms that Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival is trusted and officially adopted as a family event. When they say “your kids may have more fun than you” it’s because there are a plethora of activities and experiences provided for the little Whale Rockers to do. A truly family oriented music festival is a rare find.

WRMF’s goal is to provide “a sense of community and connection through music and the arts” and contribute to the future of local music with WRMF proceeds going to TIMBA. Previous years donations have now exceeded 90k dollars. Stay tuned for the 2019 presentation of their donation to TIMBA coming later this year.

2020 Whale Rock Music & Arts Festival is the 19th & 20th. For a limited time attendees can get advance tickets for 2020 offered for only $100 per two day pass! Sale ends October 1st!
