Photo Op with a Bugatti Veyron, Car Show, Art Walk, Dog Parade, Arts and Crafts Vendors, Food Trucks and Music Part of the Family-Friendly Fun

FORT WORTH, TX, July 08, 2019 /Neptune100/ — On Saturday, September 14, 2019, The Fort Worth Design District will be hosting the First Annual Hot Cars and Hot Dogs, an event that will bring together auto enthusiasts and car clubs for a special car show and will introduce pet lovers to a large selection of dogs available for adoption from Fort Worth dog rescues.

In addition to seeing some of Fort Worth’s coolest autos, car enthusiasts will be able to get up close and take pictures with a 1.43-million-dollar supercar, the Bugatti Veyron, a 1000-hp monster capable of 253 mph and zero to 60 in three seconds.

The free event will also feature music, local food trucks and many arts and crafts vendors and will run from 11 am to 4 pm in the center of the new Fort Worth Design District at 1921 Golden Heights Road. There will even be a dog parade, dog costume contest and free raffles for prizes, including a Lamborghini driving experience donated by Fort Worth Car Storage.

“We are inviting dozens of Fort Worth car clubs and some of the top local rescue groups, so we expect to put on a great car show and find some dogs their forever homes,” said Jennifer Knittel, Administrator for the design district.

In addition to shopping at the many dog-friendly businesses that are tenants in the district, dog lovers will be able to enjoy the district’s Golden Triangle dog park with separate facilities for small and large dogs. Art lovers will be able to see the prize-winning murals painted by nationally known graffiti artists at the last two annual graffiti art festivals hosted by the district. Selfie enthusiasts will enjoy the Snap and Share Art Walk, a series of interactive murals that invite visitors to take fun photos.
