NEW ORLEANS, LA, August 27, 2020 /Neptune100/ — Michael Everest DeMarco, New Orleans born and raised, has always had a great passion for the performing arts. He knew from a young age that he wanted to be in show business, and he worked hard to make this dream come true. Drawing on his devotion to the art and his strong work ethic, he finely honed his craft and turned his passion into a successful acting career.

Before leaping into the world of acting, Michael tried his hand at modeling. He started modeling at the age of 13 and was soon successfully landing jobs. However, acting was still his main goal, so he worked hard to perfect his acting skills. Shortly after beginning modeling, he was discovered by influential people in the acting world. Thus began his foray into Hollywood.

Michael knew that a successful acting career rarely happens just by luck, so he made efforts to improve his talent. He was classically trained in Method Acting and the Stanislavski methods by legendary acting coach Sal Dano and the Actors Studio in Los Angeles. This gave him the skills and confidence he needed to audition for casting directors. The hard work paid off, and Micahel soon began to land roles in movies and plays.

As a child actor, Michael landed the lead role in The Golden Boy, a production by Clifford Odets. Michael played Joe Bonaparte, an Italian-American violinist who dreamed of being a professional musician but became a top-ranked prizefighting boxer instead. Micheal threw himself into the role and received numerous accolades for his exceptional performance.

Once again, Michael wowed audiences with his natural talent and ability to bring depth and emotion to the character. Soon after, he took on the role of Bartolomeo Romagna in Winterset, a historic tragedy written by Maxwell Anderson.

Although Michael loved the energy and vibrancy of acting on the stage, he also wanted to branch out and diversify. Fortunately for him, his spirited performances in the plays had attracted the attention of producers in Hollywood, so it wasn’t long before he could land roles in feature movies and take his career to the next level.

One of Michael’s first movie roles was in Over the Line, a film directed by Ovidio G. Assonitis and released in 1992. The film follows a college professor who has a one-night stand with a prison inmate and becomes the object of her dark obsession. Michael was also in The Fine Stallion. These roles gave Michael valuable experience and led to many more projects.

Despite having such a successful career from a young age, Michael never rests on his laurels. He continues to develop his craft and is devoted to expanding his range. He puts endless energy and understanding into every role that he plays, which is why he is able to embody the essence of the characters and portray their hopes, fears, and subtle nuances so powerfully.

Unlike many actors who get wrapped up in the world of Hollywood, Michael manages to stay grounded and humble. He is well-known for his philanthropy, including his charitable donations to organizations that support communities in the United States and around the world.

It’s always refreshing to see a child actor blossom into a full-fledged professional actor and still maintain a down-to-earth attitude.
