First Recipient of Students Affected by Cyberbullying Awarded

THE VILLAGES, FL, February 25, 2020 /Neptune100/ — Talk of The Villages is thrilled to announce, Emma Kalberer, as the first ever recipient of its Students Affected by Cyberbullying scholarship. This year’s scholarship amount of $1,000 is awarded in memory of all those who have taken their own lives as a result of cyberbullying.

Kalberer, a senior in high school, will be attending Arizona State University this fall where she will be part of their prestigious Barrett, The Honors College. She plans to pursue a business degree in marketing.

“We received over fifty stellar essay submissions this year, and admire every student who shared with us their experience with cyberbullying. All of these students are incredible for finding ways to overcome these experiences, and it was difficult making the final decision,” says TOTV’s Public Relations Specialist, Madison Temmel.
