About the Album: Award winning record label Soundings of the Planet continues its quest to offer the best relaxation music imaginable with its newest musical offering Tropical Relaxation. Hit the reset for relax and let the mystical music of flute and harp transport you to a quiet ocean cove where gentle waves caress sandy beaches, whales and dolphins call across the sea and colorful songbirds grace a nearby lagoon. This beautifully recorded album is peaceful and soothing and also features nature sounds imbued with the Earth Resonance Frequency (ERF) which is designed to gently calm and relax the listener.

About the Artists: Dean Evenson met d’Rachael in the early ’80s and one of their first collaborations was playing for a big Ram Dass event. From then on, their deep connection has continued of creating together and improvising as if they were one voice. Over the years, they have collaborated on many award-winning albums released by Soundings of the Planet including the popular nature based albums like Peaceful Pond, Ocean Dreams, Forest Rain and Spa Dreams plus two Christmas albums Joy to the World and What Child Is This. D’Rachael has lived in Jalisco, Mexico for over 30 years. This album was recorded near her home and inspired by the beautiful tropical environment there.

About the Label: In 1979, husband and wife team and Soundings of the Planet co-founders, Dean and Dudley Evenson, decided to blend their peaceful music of flute and harp with the sounds of nature and start their own record label. They wanted to carry the message of the earth through their music into urban areas where decisions about the planet were being made. They were also motivated to create a more peaceful and meditative form of music that would support yoga and massage and their evolving spiritual path. Now, four decades later, with over 80+ albums and videos and over 1 billion plays on Pandora, Dean Evenson and the Soundings Ensemble are celebrating 40 years of sharing Peace Through Music globally!
