Omnichannel retailer Ballard Designs continues expansion trend. The interior design merchandiser to take over prominent storefront among Nashville’s long-standing, high-end furnishings stores.
NASHVILLE, TN, July 30, 2020 /Neptune100/ — Ballard Designs, a leading home furniture and decor retailer, is poised to move into Nashville at an uber popular Green Hills shopping location. The new Ballard store will be in The Glendale, flagship property of Horrell Company, one of Music City’s top property management firms.
According to Steve Horrell, Principal Broker at Horrell Company, the highly visible store location was, until recently, home to another major furniture and décor retailer for the past three decades. “We’re pleased to have Ballard coming in.”
“It’s the first retail location you see off the interstate when heading south,” Horrell notes. “Shoppers drive hours from surrounding Alabama and Kentucky cities to shop here for their first and second homes.”
The new Nashville store will be Ballard’s 15th retail location since beginning its national retail expansion in 2007. Upgrades to the site began early this summer. The 10,000 square-foot store will feature everything from ways to integrate a TV into your home decor to exclusive lighting, art, upholstery and free expert design advice.
