Design Build Remodeling Firm Named to Most Prestigious Ranking of the Nation’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies
SAN DIEGO, CA, August 23, 2019 /Neptune100/ — Jackson Design and Remodeling (JDR) announced today that the San Diego-based design build remodeling firm has been named to Inc. Magazine’s list of the nation’s “Fastest Growing Private Companies” for a landmark 10th time, only the third San Diego company to do so. Of the tens of thousands of companies that have applied to the Inc. 5000 over the years, only a fraction have made the list more than once. A mere third of a percent of companies have made the list 10 times.
The Inc. 5000 list captures the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment — its independent small businesses. Since 1982, the Inc. 5000 list has honored the extraordinary journeys of the fastest-growing companies in America. It is the most prestigious honor for growing private businesses. According to Inc. Magazine Editor in Chief James Ledbetter, companies that made the list this year grew, on average, six-fold since 2015. The 2019 list shows exceptional growth compared with prior years. The 2019 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 454 percent, and a median rate of 157 percent. “There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth,” said Ledbetter, “But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.”
Inc. Magazine’s list of the 5000 Fastest Growing Private U.S. Companies is compiled based on revenue growth from 2015 through 2018. To qualify, companies must be U.S. based, privately held, for profit and independent.
