Members Should Post Offers to Sell Domestic and International IT, Telecommunications, Cloud Services, Energy, Waste and Other Expense Categories.

PHOENIX, AZ, July 20, 2020 /Neptune100/ — ETMA, the Enterprise Technology Management Association, has opened the ETL Market Place for its members to upload offers to sell invoice readers for Extract, Transform and Load, or ETL capabilities. The next critical step is for ETMA members to upload offers into the ETL Market Place.

ETMA seeks to match sellers and buyers of domestic and international IT, Telecom (wireline, and wireless), cloud services, energy, waste and other spend categories. The online market place will allow firms to search for bill reader capabilities and identify sellers. After finding a match, they will complete the transaction off line and work out the contract and other elements with the other firm.

There are compelling reasons for ETMA members to participate in this initiative. Solutions Providers incur significant costs to develop each bill reader. Developing specialized ETL capabilities for IT, telecommunications and other expense categories for different vendors or countries in which our members provide services for international enterprises is a challenge. The volume of vendor invoices in some countries can be small. Breaking even on these development costs when there is low volume for selected expense categories, countries and vendors is nearly impossible.

In addition, once the reader and ETL capability is developed, there are ongoing costs keeping readers up-to-date when the billing format changes. Sales to other firms provide a way to amortize development costs and ongoing maintenance.

Christian Cor, CEO of Saaswedo said, “ETMA members face many of the same challenges around ETL processing – streamlining their search to support their business needs will save them time and money. It is a no-brainer for these ETMA member companies to join. I’m looking forward to seeing all the countries and vendors that members will be uploading into the system.”

Peter Yelle, Vice President of Operations and Support from Scrutinare said, “We are excited to participate in the ETMA Marketplace. With over 3500 vendor formats in our library, we hope to bring higher levels of automated invoice ingestion. Automated invoice handling brings more accurate data in a timely manner, at a competitive price. These are all good things to help ETMA members thrive in today’s environment.”

Dean Keeler, Vice President of Operations and CTO for AMI Strategies said, “We already have platform partners that white label AMI Strategies temNOW™ and mobilityNOW platforms. This builds on AMI’s Invoice[AI] product which was designed to use Artificial Intelligence to easily capture invoice data detail, normalize the results and generate smart, query-able data in return.”

Joe Basili, Managing Director for ETMA, said, “In most cases, solutions providers have 80% or more of their readers already in place. Because the volume is low, these ETL Market Place readers are unlikely to be an area of major competitive differentiation. ETMA members have reach into categories that enterprise clients want. We seek to bring our members together, but there will be no fees for this service. As a non-profit, ETMA seeks to provide value for its members. All actions are designed to serve our member companies, not to profit from them. “
