The Enterprise Technology Management Association Giving Back award supports ETMA’s mission of enhancing the category image for industry participants and humanizing its members.
WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA, September 16, 2019 /Neptune100/ — ETMA, the Enterprise Technology Management Association, announces five nominees for the Giving Back award: AMI Strategies, Auditmacs, CBI, Mobile Solutions and Network Control. This award shines a spotlight on the nominees, their charitable efforts, positive community impact, and inspiration of others through community service.
Nominees will present and winners will be selected at the upcoming ETMA Conference September 24-26 in Atlanta. The Giving Back award supports ETMA’s mission of promoting the values of technology and telecommunications management and enhancing the category image for its members.
“We work every day to inspire and grow girls and women in technology, and it certainly takes a village. We look forward to engaging everyone in our network so they feel ownership of this mission and see their role in bringing it to life. Together we can help ensure our workforce reflects our community,” stated -Jane Sydlowski, President AMI Strategies.
“I’m so glad ETMA has chosen giving back as an award worthy category for the association. Too often people think that when they write that 50 or 100k check. It is an expense and that’s the end of it; they helped a few people. Not so. Giving back, more than anything else in business, has a ‘positive multiplier effect’ meaning the money, resources, skills, time, and energy you donate has a go forward multiplier effect that lives on far beyond the check being cashed,” said David A Hopper, CEO of Auditmacs.
“Everyone at CBI is encouraged to support causes near and dear to them. At CBI, Philanthropy is one of our six CORE Values. We work hard to incorporate philanthropy into everything that we do,” said Denise Booms-Pepin, CEO of CBI Telecommunications Consultants.
Jim and Kim Johnson, Co-Founders of Mobile Solutions said, “At Mobile Solutions, we believe success requires a holistic approach. Shared success creates thriving communities and so we give back our time and donations to help those in need and support causes we are passionate about. We started with Susan G. Komen, a charity that is very dear to both of us. Our work family gets together every year for the Race for the Cure and we contribute donations collected from some really incredible events. Since then, we’ve expanded to donate to dozens of organizations selected by our people. Giving back is something each of us is passionate about and it has been great seeing our impact in our community and beyond.”
“Network Control believes in giving back to the local community from which its valuable employees reside. We are proud to be able to allow our employees the ability to nominate the charities and non-profit organizations they work with and touch their hearts,” said Mark Hearn CEO and President of Network Control.
“This year’s nominees have very impressive community service activities, said Joe Basili, Managing Director of ETMA. Basili added, “I have no doubt that the nominees’ presentations at our upcoming September 24-26 conference will be inspirational. They share common themes with giving back and community service as part of the DNA and fabric of ETMA members.”
ETMA’s executive board has prepared a full agenda for the upcoming September 24-26 conference in Atlanta. The speakers and panelists will address the conference theme of faster, better, stronger. In addition to networking activities and great information from presenters, the awards will showcase important industry developments.
