Top Shelf Getaways a high-end travel concierge service that provides one-of-a-kind, budget friendly, elite travel experiences specific to those who have an appetite for decadence and who are looking to get the best out of life. In addition to several exclusive international, and domestic, group getaways planned each year, Top Shelf Getaways offers private, curated, getaways where clients can celebrate important events, host gatherings of friends, family and colleagues, and have experienced luxury travel specialists make sure it is a world-class, memorable experience.
A few years ago, Ser’Darius came up with the idea for Top Shelf Getaways during a series of deeply life changing events. At one of the darkest times in his life, he prayed for reprieve and an escape to be able to “experience and see the world differently.” Soon after, he booked two films that took him overseas to Thailand and Dubai. These getaways, and the life experiences he had while he was there in the unfamiliar and new surroundings, profoundly changed him and he was determined to share it with his closest family and friends. Those “Eat, Pray, Love” moments spawned the idea to create a means for people to experience the benefits that International travel, new cultures, foods, and adventures can have on one’s mental health and well-being. The Covid-19 lockdown allowed Ser’Darius the time to bring his plan to life and grow this new business. Ser’Darius and Top Shelf Getaways believe in enriching lives through cultural and spiritual experiences, challenging physical abilities through movement and adventure, expanding palates through culinary dishes and ethnic cuisines, and feeding one’s soul through togetherness and symbiosis.
Since its launch, Top Shelf Getaways has curated a number of private group getaways servicing over 200 guests in that span both domestically and to Mexico. They kicked off their top secret “White Rabbit” surprise getaways and a five-day New Year’s Eve “Escape to Tulum.” With safety a top priority, all Top Shelf Getaways follow strict COVID-19 safety guidelines while providing private VIP services, with NDAs and private security, as needed.
