About Charles Frydenborg:
Chuck started his career at Gartner, the world’s leading research and advisory company, where he helped Gartner grow from $80 million revenue to over $2 billion. He started as one of the top-performing AE’s. Due to his outstanding performance as an Account Executive, he was promoted to his first sales management role, where he led Gartner’s highest-performing sales team (out of forty+ teams) two years in a row. During his twelve-year tenure in the Gartner sales organization, he achieved Winner’s Circle (President’s Club) eleven times. After performing highly in several sales management roles, he was promoted to Vice President of the Premium Services organization, a global team of over 100 associates. He previously spent 6+ years leading the traffic and search strategies across all TechTarget online properties in addition to leading Field and Product Marketing. He was also the EVP of products, technology, and marketing at KnowledgeStorm for seven years before its acquisition by TechTarget. Prior to that, he spent 19 years at IBM as a sales executive, consulting leader, and e-business services director.
In 2009, he was invited to Rosetta Stone, which was a $250 million business at the time, due to their Consumer and Education business, where they tasked him to build out the Corporate sales channel— similar to what he’s now doing at MarketMuse. During his leadership tenure, the Corporate business more than tripled in growth. In addition to building the sales team, Chuck played a critical role in their go-to-market and product development efforts for the Corporate Market.
Chuck left Rosetta Stone to join Acrolinx in January 2016, where he led Global Sales, helping to lead the company through a period of unprecedented growth, and to their acquisition by a private equity firm.
