New Barber Shop Offers Trending Styles, Clipper Cuts, Fades, Straight Razor Shaves and Facials
FORT WORTH, TX, March 16, 2021 /Neptune100/ — When he was in his teens, Devante Ellis was hired to sweep up in the neighborhood barber shop. His fond memories of that side hustle eventually led him to become a barber.
“When I started out, I was cutting hair for friends at the kitchen table and in the basement, and I learned that I really loved barbering, connecting with people and helping them look better,” said Ellis. In pursuit of his profession, Ellis completed World-A-Cuts Barber Institute in York, PA in 2014.
He quickly began to build a loyal following at Diversified Cuts in Hanover, PA because of his dedication to perfecting his craft. “Diversified Cuts had a broad clientele, so I became good at cutting all different types and textures of hair,” said Ellis.
Known for his mastery of trending styles, clipper cuts, fades, straight razor shaves, and facials, Ellis prides himself on the relationships that he builds with every client.
“I want to make every client comfortable in my chair,” said Ellis, who takes his time with consultations and welcomes his customers to bring in their favorite music to enjoy while in his chair.
Recently located to Fort Worth, Ellis has opened his own barber shop, DTB Studio in Suite 109, inside Salon and Spa Galleria Rufe Snow, at 7720 Rufe Snow Drive in North Richland Hills, TX. The shop offers a variety of styling products.
As an incentive for new clients, Ellis is offering a free t-shirt to his first one hundred haircut clients. In addition, he gives a free haircut to anyone who refers two new clients. “Many of my best barbering clients come to me by word of mouth through my unlimited referral program,” he added.
