Local law firm gives $1 to Toys for Tots for every “like” it gets on Facebook. Pittsburgh residents are encouraged to participate online or by dropping by the Stuff-A-Bus event from December 2 through December 6, 2019.

PITTSBURGH, PA, December 05, 2019 /Neptune100/ — Local personal injury and disability law firm Berger and Green is delighted to announce it will again sponsor the Marines Stuff-A-Bus Program, making 2019 the fourth consecutive year it has done so. The program, which collects toys for children in need throughout the Pittsburgh area, is a favorite event for the team at Berger and Green, who place a high value on community involvement.

“Every child deserves to experience a little magic during the holidays,” said Cynthia C. Berger, founding partner at Berger and Green. “The fact that we are able to help make that happen with Stuff-A-Bus is deeply rewarding. It makes the entire office happy just to be a part of it.”

Berger and Green invites Pittsburgh to join in on the joy of giving. The firm presents several ways any individual can get involved to help brighten a child’s holiday.

Facebook “Like” Campaign Raises Additional Money for Toys for Tots

The easiest and most affordable way to help Toys for Tots is to visit and “like” Berger and Green’s Facebook page. As in previous years, for every new “like” the page receives, Berger and Green will put aside $1. At the end of the campaign, all the money that has been put aside will be donated to Toys for Tots.

“As a result of last year’s Facebook “like” campaign, we donated $2,907 to Toys for Tots,” said Berger and Green Founding Partner Laurence B. Green. “We like to think of it as nearly 3,000 smiles for children across the Pittsburgh area.”

“We’d like to create even more smiles this year,” Green adds.

Berger and Green Office Fundraiser

Besides its Facebook campaign, Berger and Green hosts a toy drive for employees of the law firm, as well as other residents of their office building. People are encouraged to bring a toy donation for Toys for Tots, in exchange for breakfast, courtesy of Berger and Green. The collected toys are taken to the Pittsburgh Stuff-A-Bus event, along with toys the staff purchases using any cash donated during their event (last year, cash donations totaled $448).

Details for 2019 Stuff-A-Bus Program

The 2019 Stuff-A-Bus event takes place from Monday, December 2, through Friday, December 6 at 10 am. Radio station personalities Mikey and Big Bob from 96. 1 KISS FM will be camping out in front of HomeGoods in Robinson Town Centre, collecting toys dropped off by the good people of Pittsburgh. All donated toys will be loaded onto buses for Toys for Tots. Last year’s event stuffed 45 buses with toys for underprivileged children around Pittsburgh.
