How to Jump on the Path to Success

NEW YORK, NY, October 02, 2019 /Neptune100/ — Money Answers Show host, Jordan Goodman, invited Ann Marie Sabath, award-winning author and founder and president of At Ease Inc., a 32-year old firm specializing in domestic and international business courtesy programs, to discuss the habits of self-made millionaires and how to overcome roadblocks on the path to success.

The Money Answers Show episode, “Do You Know How To Become A Self-Made Millionaire?” delves into the habits of financially successful individuals and the choices they made that led them to become self-made millionaires.

Sabath begins by explaining that this path is not exclusive. She states, “Anyone can become a self-made millionaire. It’s strictly a matter of knowing what it takes and being disciplined through good habits. It has very little to do with money. It’s more the culmination of your actions.” It all begins with a goal or a “light at the end of the tunnel.” Working towards goals and thinking of time and energy as currency are the way to achieve the best outcomes. You have to conceive it, believe it, and then achieve it.

While making a goal sounds good on paper, it takes more than telling your friends or family you’re going to make a change. You have to actualize change. Sabath recommends writing down your goals and keeping them private. People tend to actualize ideas and goals more often when they keep it personal. It’s easier to talk about doing something than actually doing it. Putting your plan into action and making it happen is the only way success is going to happen.

What does success actually mean? It can be different to different people. Some individuals want to live a balanced life, want to be able to help people or a cause they care about, or just follow their passion. It’s important to realize what success means to you and find the path that will help you achieve those goals.

Monetizing your passions is an additional way to find success while loving what you do. Sabath states, “Approximately 75% of self-made billionaires are entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs are someone who has found a passion, found a service or product, and love it.” Believing in your product or service is what can set you above the rest, especially if it is common. To set yourself above the rest you have to market yourself in an interesting way that gets you noticed.

Surrounding yourself with like-minded people is another way to boost your chances of success. Sabath speaks of finding a “brain trust advisor” who has created what you hope to achieve and who will help guide you. Someone who wants to help you, but who also will be straight with you and you can approach with an open mind.

While having goals is important, you have to be able to walk the walk. Writing down your goals makes you significantly more likely to achieve them, but you need to be able to visualize the steps involved and make a plan for tangible results. Developing the right habits is the best way to ensure you are on the right path. Even something simple, such as being punctual, can make a difference. Each decision you make can be the difference between success and failure.
