National CARES Mentoring Movement and Live Free USA Join the #BeGood Toughest Men to Bring Equal Justice and Opportunity

LOS ANGELES, CA, July 24, 2020 /Neptune100/ — Saturday, July 25, 2020 – 4PM Pacific/7PM Eastern, the World Premier of the ‘World’s Toughest Men’ will come together with #BeGood, for the World Premier goes live to spread a message of tolerance, unity and reconciliation, and you can be there! #BeGood was created by Rick Bassman, host of Talking Tough, when these divisive times seriously got under his skin. He asked himself what he could do to make a difference.

When coronavirus and protests changed America; Rick and his fellow tough guys took stock, as arenas, gyms and stadiums went silent. Rick asked his friends how they felt about a simple message of peace and positivity, delivered in the most straightforward way possible. With that, #BeGood was born.

“With the Talking Tough podcasts, I wanted to see if these legendary tough guys could tell their stories, share what they had learned the hard way, to help people better navigate their lives.” Explained Bassman. “The goal of #BeGood, is “to build a bridge”, not only of tolerance for differing opinions and backgrounds, but of genuine reconciliation, during these very challenging times.”

Rick, aka “Little Big Man,” is well-known as a business and morale leader in the “tough guy world” and joining him on Saturday will be a “Tough Guy” celebrity line-up like no other. The roster includes, Co-Host Deron ‘Malibu’ McBee of American Gladiator fame, Pro Wrestling Superstar, Steve ‘Sting’ Borden, Hells Angels leader, Howard ‘Rusty’ Coons, Boxing legend Eric “Butterbean” Esch, the “Incredible Hulk” Lou Ferrigno, LAPD’s “Angel of Skid Row” Deon Joseph, Fitness and strength icon Mike O’ Hearn, Stuntman extraordinaire Tanoai Reed, Mixed Martial Arts icon Bas Rutten, Martial Arts legend Benny “The Jet” Urquidez and his co-executive producer, Tim Prokop, known for his work as producer of “Intervention,” “Deadliest Warrior” and “War Dogs”.

Working together with their non-profit partners National CARES Mentoring Movement and Live Free USA, will be their merchandising partner, Spreadshirt, one of the world’s leaders in charitable e-commerce.

“It is our hope that our worldwide community, will help support our non-profit partners and the communities they serve, by purchasing our #BeGood merchandise.” stated Bassman. The majority of proceeds will go to benefit National CARES and Live Free.

Inside, we all want to feel good about ourselves, about others, about this world. If some of the world’s demonstrably hardest guys can demonstrate this, truly let their guards down in a quest for peace, that shows people that anything is possible.

#BeGood is also gearing up for its second event, which will be a live stream from The W Hotel Hollywood on Saturday, September 26th. A new stellar cast of “tough guy” (and women) participants, and sponsors, will be announced shortly.

#BeGood World Premier goes “live” this Saturday, July 25th, at
