CYPHER LEARNING, provider of learning platforms for schools, universities, and organizations around the world, has announced the release of an offline mode for the Android and iOS apps of NEO and MATRIX LMS.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, December 10, 2020 /Neptune100/ — CYPHER LEARNING, provider of learning platforms for schools, universities, and organizations around the world, has announced the release of an offline mode for the Android and iOS apps of NEO and MATRIX, its learning management systems (LMS) to enable teaching and learning to continue seamlessly regardless of a user’s connectivity.

Recent events have forced many schools and organizations to embrace distance learning and remote training. Now more than ever, it’s essential to provide learners and instructors with e-learning content that is readily available from any device, regardless of the user’s location. In areas with connectivity problems, ensuring that learners can access online courses is a challenge for many academic institutions and companies. As a solution to this issue, CYPHER LEARNING has launched an offline mode for the native apps of its learning platforms, NEO, and MATRIX. The offline mode is available for the Android and iOS apps of both products.

The offline support for the apps will enable users to have full access to various platform functionalities, even when mobile devices are not connected to the Internet. This will help learners and instructors have a seamless LMS experience anytime, anywhere. The first version of the offline mode will allow users to launch and load the app without internet connectivity, load pages through the app that they have visited before, load images and videos without network connectivity, manage the app’s storage, and more.

Graham Glass, CEO of CYPHER LEARNING, said: “We’re very excited to release the first version of offline mode for our native apps. This feature will be useful for many schools and companies to ensure that teaching and learning continue regardless of the connectivity challenges their users may have.”

CYPHER LEARNING is planning to release several updates to the offline mode feature, including improving the performance and reducing network access when connected.
