Care U, senior contents development and distribution company that runs ICT-based program for seniors
LAS VEGAS, NV, July 03, 2019 /Neptune100/ — Care U, the social enterprise located in the Digital Contents Company Growth Support Center announced that its senior game play support technology and game service model development project in cooperation with KAIST Graduate School of Cultural Technology has been selected as cultural technology R&D project (Korea Creative Contents Agency).
In this project, Care U will be responsible for developing service model and operating living lab, and will be operating various ICT-based programs including games for the welfare of the elderly. The project will be held until March 2022 at the Seoul Metropolitan City 50 Plus Central Campus, Anyang Senior General Welfare Center, and Pangyo.
Especially in Anyang Senior General Welfare Center and Pangyo, senior-related systems developed by Care U will be introduced to provide seniors with hands-on experience.
On future direction of the project, Shin Jung-young, the CEO of Care U, said, “In addition to mental health care currently being developed by us, we are planning to provide effective care for the mental health and aging of seniors by connecting with VR, IoT, and artificial intelligence speaker products.” He also added, “We will try to distribute the ICT-based solution for the seniors to have a comfortable life without having to enter the nursing home.”
Care U is a senior content developer and distributor with the slogan “smart aging”. With the goal of providing community care to the elderly to live in the local community and have comfortable life, Care U is focusing on developing programs for dementia, chronic diseases in old-aged people, and awareness improvement programs. In addition, it is providing ICT-based services that can enhance the quality of senior life.
“Smart aging” means “getting old by using smart contents and technology,” and Care U aims to realize seniors’ healthy life mentally and physically with smart technology.
