Tom Chappell is founder of Ramblers Way and a pioneering entrepreneur in the field of sustainable business. Together with his wife, Kate Chappell, Tom founded Ramblers Way in 2009. In 1970, Tom and Kate revolutionized the personal care industry when they founded Tom’s of Maine. They built the Tom’s brand into a household name, the gold standard in natural personal care products. In 2006, Colgate-Palmolive purchased a controlling stake in the company. Tom holds a BA in English from Trinity College and a Masters of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School.

Chris Chappell, Director of Marketing

Chris is responsible for advertising, PR and social media. He also manages the company’s online presence, including SEO and customer service. Chris holds a BA from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut. He is a Latin Grammy- nominated producer and engineer as well as a musician, songwriter and co-founder of a band, The Incubators.

Eliza Chappell, Creative Director

A designer by training and entrepreneur by experience, Eliza designs the Ramblers Way women’s collection. Prior to joining Ramblers Way in 2009, Eliza worked in new product development and sales at Tom’s of Maine. She ran her own hand weaving business from 1997 to 1999.
